Central Bank of India has been comparatively delayed (as compared with other banks) in imbibing new technology. But it has now held up, says a bank’s Executive Director, Ms V.R. Iyer.
The bank finished networking of all a branches, numbering tighten to 4,000 about a year ago. It is now aggressively expanding a ATM network. “We have around 1,494 ATMs during present. We wish to boost it to 2,000 in a subsequent 6 months, and supplement another 1,000 before a finish of 2013,” she told Business Line. Excerpts from an interview.
