The Lithuanian banking industry
posted a distinction final year as supplies declined and a economy
grew during a second-fastest gait in a European Union, the
central bank said.
Banks in a Baltic republic had a total distinction of 1.1
billion litai ($420 million), compared with a detriment of 271.9
million litai in 2010, a Lietuvos Bankas, formed in the
capital, Vilnius, pronounced currently on a website.
After roughly dual years of losses, lenders began to post
profits in a second half of 2010 as Lithuania’s economy
rebounded from a recession. The economy stretched 5.8 percent
last year.
