GRG ATM Certified by German Banking Industry Committee
On 6th December 2011 Die Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft (DK) had officially certified the DT-7000 ATM series of GRGBanking. Die Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft which literally means “German Banking Industry” and is previously known as Zentraler Kreditausschuss (ZKA) is operated by the central associations of the German banking industry. In total the committee represents more than 2,300 banks in Germany. By passing this certification GRGBanking is allowed to run their ATMs in the territory of Germany. This step underlines once more GRGBanking’s global and European expansion.
The certified GRGBanking ATMs are including the H22N, H22NL, H38N, H38NL, H38N-XDM, H38NL-XDM, H38HD, H46N, H68N, H68NL, E800L and E300L. The full range of products is also compliant with the industrial standards like PCI, EMV, UL, FCC, CE, CB, C-TICK and RoHS.
Hendrik Eckholt, Regional Sales Manager and Project Manager of GRGHK, said that the company’s products successfully passed the security evaluation and all 2200 functional tests which are required by the Committee. “The results show that our Made-in-China products represent a high quality in the global banking industry and will assure the confidence of our partners and customers regarding the co-operation with us.”
As the leading currency recognition and cash processing solutions provider in the global market, GRGBanking partnered with LM Software GmbH, a German-based banking software and solution provider, to realize this project. Together both companies have managed to integrate the LM client application including the EMV-kernel into the GRGBanking hardware and on top of their XFS interface within only six weeks.
Robert Höpfner, General Manager of LM Software GmbH, said: “Due to very good teamwork between the developers on both sides and the alliance of hardware know-how and special knowledge of the German market by LM Software GmbH we processed positively.” LM Software develops device-independent software for the periphery of banks, insurance companies and industry.
Furthermore and to combine the global experience of GRGBanking and local German know-how the ATMs are certified with VeriFone’s Encryption Pin Pad (EPP V5 PCI).

One of the biggest private banks and ATM deplorers in Turkey kicked off the ATM solution pilot of F@ST Abacus, early October, 2011. The software solution is supplied by GRGBanking, the leading currency recognition and cash processing solution provider in China and the global market. The bank is considering using the software solution to manage and improve its off-site ATM location selection process.
F@ST Abacus is an intelligent ATM location selection and analytic management platform. It provides standardized investigation method and scientific evaluation rules, helps banks selecting suitable locations and keeps track of the on-site investigation team performance.
Location is the most important factor for ATM deployment, since more than 80% of ATM efficiency and profitability is decided by the location selection. Research showed that placing the ATM in a highly visible and impulse-friendly location traditionally will increase transactions by 25 to 30 percent.

The 1000th GRG ATM in Turkey was put online on November 24, by Altus, GRG’s local partner in service.
According to the contract signed in April 2011, Ziraat Bank (T.C. Ziraat Bankas? A.?.), Turkish’s largest state bank, had purchased more than one thousand cash recycling ATMs from GRGBanking, the leading provider of currency recognition and cash processing solutions.
The chosen model of the contract is cash recycling ATM H68N. As a self-service cash machine to provide withdrawal, deposit, currency exchange, bill payment, coin exchange and other services, it uses cash recycling technology, which is still uncommon in Turkey.
According to Banking Automation Bulletin, the machines is part of Ziraat Bank’s plan to “offer convenient banking services to the unbanked and the semi-banked” people, and also “a method of curbing operating costs and enhancing the consumer experience”. Co-operative Bank Ltd., (CB Bank), launched the first ATM to the Myanmar public at its Head Office, Yangon, on Nov 1, 2011. The day indicates likely that every Asian country has ended the time without ATM to use. Myanmar public has waited 8 years to use ATM again. Last time for Myanmar public to have ATM can be dated back in 2003. The bank, which provided that ATM service, stopped it in the same year.
As the first ATM in Myanmar since 2003, it is produced by GRGBanking, the leading provider of currency recognition and cash processing solutions in the global market. The model of all machines is H22NL, a new generation versatile cash dispenser in a compact cost-effective footprint.
The name of the ATM service is “Easi Banking”. Any customer can apply Easi Card at Head Office of CB Bank. With aim of enabling their customer to enjoy easy round-the-clock service of withdraw, check balance, transfer and payment, the bank will installed the other ATM of first phase soon on Wizaya Branch, Mingalarzay Branch and other branches or shopping malls.

Ziraat Bank (T.C. Ziraat Bankas? A.?.), Turkish’s largest state bank, is to build the largest biometric ATM network in Europe by January 2012.
The bank had bought 1505 GRG recycling ATM, all of which are equipped with palm vein readers, the latest biometric security technology used in ATM. In addition, 1,400 desktop palm readers that can connect PCs via USB were ordered and the delivery is completed.
By January 2012, “1.400 desktop palm readers will be disseminated over branches for the purpose of reading the customer’s palm vein data”, said Mr. Ali Araz on ATMIA ATM Security 2011, London. Araz is the General Manager of Fintek, which is the IT company of Ziraat Bank, and CIO of Ziraat Bank. Besides ATM from GRGBanking, the Bank has currently 2,900 ATM from NCR and Wincor Nixdorf ATM.
